Charm Tips
Charms are 5" squares cut with a pinked edge. For best
results, be consistent when piecing by using either the top
of
the pink or the base of the pinked edge. Each bundle
contains 1 color or design of each fabric in a group or
line, for that reason - projects are scrappy.
-
By combining 2 or more packs
of the same charm group - you can create repetitive or
symmetrical designs.
-
By combining charms based on
color or based on the fabric pattern, you can also
create secondary designs or arrangements.
For even more dazzling results - add a novelty fabric such
as chenille, uptown plush or minkee to the mix. Custom cut your own
charms and throw them in either randomly or with a repeat
pattern in mind.
Jelly Rolls, Honey Buns, Dessert Rolls, Layer Cakes and
Turnovers work the same way--they are cut with a pinked edge
and for best results, use the seam depth consistently.
